The Travel Site For Australians Going Overseas

Why you should advertise with us

Since going live in March 2010 Aussie Travel Advice  has built a large following, primarily amongst Australians looking for travel advice and tips for their next overseas holiday.  This traffic represents the initial goal for the site;  to fill a niche for Australians looking for straight forward international travel advice and resources without the considerable bias of the majority if travel sites online.

Everything on the site has been written with the Aussie traveller in mind, which separates the site from the hundreds of other travel blogs out there today and in turn gives us highly targeted traffic across a range of travel related topics.

Targeted Traffic

We rank second only to the government website smartraveller.gov.au in Google for Aussies searching for ‘travel advice’, and also land on the first page for areas of travel health, finance, teaching English overseas and more.   High search rankings for competitive terms means our site is here to stay.  Ads with us will only increase in value as the traffic and PR of the site continues to build.  The site covers a wide range of topics; chances are if you are advertising a travel product there will be a page on our site that will suit.

Traffic Stats

Google PR:  The home page has a google Pr ranking of 4.   Many of both the static and blog pages on the site are ranked from 2-3.

Social: Currently over 1,000 followers on Facebook.

Ad Policy

Any advertising on our site is carefully considered and we will make sure it in no way compromises the independence of the site.  Nothing is advertised that we wouldn’t use ourselves! (No gambling sites or work at home adds thanks).

We  occasionally publish commercial posts on the site.  These are always listed as ‘sponsored posts’ and would never be from a company we would not use ourselves, and must also provide useful online resources useful to readers.  Posts are listed as either:

Guest Posts: Written by fellow bloggers with no commercial intent.

Sponsored Posts: Always labelled as sponsored, these posts may have links to the writers relevant sites.

Author Posts:   Written by ATA.

For potential sponsored posts please do not bother contacting us unless the content you wish to provide is relevant and of a high standard: 300 word spam articles will not be published here.  We understand this is the trend in blog advertising and will always  consider decent requests – please just make it genuine and upfront.

If you are interested in further information on the site or to advertise please get in touch for a copy of our Media Kit (PDF), which includes an outline of what we expect in regards to guest posts and the many other options we have available.

Cheers,
