Who are we?
This site is dedicated to providing free and independent travel advice specifically for Australians going overseas. Be it a holiday for a week, working overseas, volunteering or an around the world journey the information here will help save you time and money and hopefully keep you pumped for your next adventure.
There’s currently over 300 pages of free and independent travel advice and links on the site. Alongside these pages is our travel blog and travel photo sections. Both are updated weekly with travel stories, news, tips and great photos. It’s fast becoming a hub for people wanting to share their travel tales and tips. If you want to do the same please contact us! or if you have any feedback please let us know.
The site is not about being parochial, it’s about providing practical travel advice and links for the Aussie traveller without the BS and sugar coating of some other sites and the weekly travel section.
What do we know?
The travel advice on this site has been written and researched by three good mates. One a former travel agent with a major Australian agency, two a doctor, and three a former SBS journalist. There’s no one expert in travel yet between us we hope the information here will help get you on your way. We all just love to travel and hope that comes across when you look at the site. There’s also regular contributions from readers.
Why use this website?
There’s a range of stuff covered here: from working visas, round the world tickets, travel health, our blog and much more. Its all written with an insiders healthy skepticism of the Australian travel industry and lots of practical travel experience between us all.
The section on working overseas is one of the most comprehensive on the net for Aussies travelling OS. We hope you get something out of it!
